Laboratory Director

Our client is a life science service provider based in Singapore with presence across the region. They are currently looking for a Laboratory Director to join and oversee the operations in the Singapore lab.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and manage lab staff; promote teamwork and manage the lab's budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain quality assurance, and uphold safety protocols.
• Develop and update lab procedures, optimize workflows, and maintain equipment.
• Stay updated with new lab technologies, validate new methods, and integrate innovations.
• Ensure timely reporting of lab results, communicate with internal departments and external parties, and maintain accreditations.

Requirements:

• A doctural degree in medicine or healthcare related discipline
• At least 4 years of lab operations management experience
• People leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
