Job Description:
Position Overview: The Sales Specialist will focus on driving growth for chromatography products in Japan. This role involves supporting customers and the sales team, promoting technology adoption, and engaging with the customer base in the bioprocess industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory.
- Highlight the value of combining various product portfolios.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by seeking leads and managing a sales pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes and provide accurate reporting.
- Participate in market research, customer projects, and product launches.
- Support marketing plans in coordination with the marketing team.
- Establish and maintain key account relationships.
- Identify new sales and business opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with key third parties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and advocate for customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific or engineering field.
- At least 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries
- Strong understanding of chromatography
- Relevant experience with chromatography operations.
- Proven track record in successful sales and key account management.
- Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Willing to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
