Senior BD Manager

We are working with a leading provider of innovative genomic solutions, dedicated to advancing life sciences research and improving human health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities: Explore new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans: Achieve revenue and growth targets by creating and executing comprehensive business strategies
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships: Build and nurture relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts, including negotiating and closing deals
  • Lead cross-functional teams: Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful execution of strategies and projects
  • Analyze market strategies: Research industry and market trends to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities
  • Manage complex contract negotiations: Work with legal counsel as required to negotiate and finalize contracts
  • Mentor and coach junior staff: Develop the business development capabilities of junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales, with a proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, strategic thinking, and methodical execution
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the life sciences and genomic solutions industry is a plus
