Role Overview:
The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Biophysics Account Manager to drive sales, develop client relationships, and support their customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region). You will be responsible for promoting and selling their advanced biophysical instrumentation and services, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and driving business growth within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Account Management: Identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and drive revenue growth in the DACH region by selling the client's biophysics products and services to life sciences and pharmaceutical companies.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, researchers, and stakeholders in the DACH region.
- Product Demonstrations & Technical Support: Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical support, including live demonstrations, training sessions, and troubleshooting.
- Market Expansion: Develop strategies to increase brand visibility, enhance market penetration, and position my client's products as leaders in the biophysics industry.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical support teams to align customer needs with the company's offerings.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Manage the sales pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts, and report regularly on progress, challenges, and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biophysics, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, account management, or business development within the life sciences, biophysics, or biotechnology sector.
- Strong technical background and knowledge of biophysical instruments, molecular biology, and/or structural biology techniques (such as SPR, ITC, FRET, or others).
- Experience working in the DACH region is a plus, with strong knowledge of the local market and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to travel extensively within the DACH region.
- Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
