Associate Director, Antibody Discovery

We are seeking an accomplished and innovative Associate Director of Antibody Discovery to lead and drive efforts in antibody discovery and engineering. This individual will play a key role in developing and optimizing strategies to generate high-quality therapeutic antibodies, collaborating cross-functionally to advance programs from early discovery to development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee antibody discovery efforts, including hybridoma, phage display, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance antibody engineering, affinity maturation, and developability.
• Manage and mentor a team of scientists to drive innovation and efficiency in antibody discovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including protein engineering, bioinformatics, and preclinical development, to support pipeline progression.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance antibody discovery capabilities.
• Contribute to IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions as needed.
• Present findings and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field, with 7+ years of industry experience in antibody discovery and engineering.
• Proven expertise in hybridoma, phage/yeast display, B-cell screening, or other antibody discovery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of antibody characterization, developability assessments, and optimization.
• Experience leading scientific teams and managing discovery projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of scientific excellence and innovation.
