Automation Specialist

We are currently working with a leading medical device firm looking for an Automation Specialist to join their team in Switzerland. You will be part of a reputable organisation helping to improve patients' lives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing in-depth knowledge in production support.
  • valuating and implementing new production technologies as well as optimising existing production processes.
  • Defining, specifying, and validating manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Planning and executing process expansions through automation/partial automation.
  • Supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation solutions.
  • Analyzing, optimizing, and documenting production workflows.
  • Identifying cost and quality optimization opportunities.
  • Organizing and coordinating cross-departmental activities.
  • Maintaining machinery.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Completed training/apprenticeship as an automation technician or a comparable technical education.
  • Experience with highly automated systems.
  • Autonomous working style and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
