AVP AI and Data Science

Our client is medtech company that develops AI-based health monitoring technology. They are currently looking for a AVP Data Science and AI that will be involved in developing data analytics using statistical methods, machine learning, and AI models for time-series and image data, and deploying these models on a cloud-based server.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the overall vision and strategic objectives.
• Drive projects across data science, product, and operations teams.
• Hire and groom team members.
• Work with hospitals, pharma, and medical device clients across APAC and the US, with remote work opportunities.
• Handle large-scale medical data, develop various analytics algorithms, and implement them on cloud servers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics
• At least 6 years of experience in data science
• Experience in people management
• Familiar with back-end languages (C#, Python, Java)
• Familiar with databases (Eg. Oracle, MySQL, etc) and web servers (Eg. AWS)
• Excellent communication skills
