Environmental Compliance

EPM Scientific is seeking an Environmental Compliance consultant to join on a 12 month contract supporting them on Environmental Compliance for an ongoing project they have requiring expertise in this area.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as an SME for PEC by supporting the business with interpreting and applying PEC regulations to the product(s) in scope of the project
• Partner with R&D teams to complete initial checklist to identify PEC DI's in the scope of the project. This includes approval of initial and final checklists in onePLM
• Supporting the team in completing initial and final environmental checklists, from identifying PEC DI's to verifying and closing DI's
• Manage WEEE/Battery data reporting
• Manage e-disclosure document updates, as well as SCIP database reporting
• Support PEC QMS continuous improvements and job aid development
• Go-to for customers seeking guidance/info over specific PEC regulation/area (i.e., WEEE Directive, or RS assessment process)
• Example project's requiring support would include:

1. PFAS
2. POPs
3. Battery regulation
4. Packaging regulation
5. Cmap system development
6. RSL sub-group
7. INST PEC SP site management
