GPO & Tender Manager

I am working with a global leader in medical devices, dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovations in cardiology, orthopedics, surgical robotics, and diagnostics.

They are currently looking for a GPO Tender Manager to join their expert team.

Key Role Highlights:

As a GPO Tender Manager, you will be responsible for leading the entire tendering process with GPOs, ensuring successful contract acquisition and execution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams-including sales, legal, and finance-to develop competitive proposals and maintain strong GPO relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Tender Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement strategies to secure GPO contracts successfully.
• Proposal Management - Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders, ensuring full compliance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with sales, legal, finance, and regulatory teams to align strategies.
• Market & Competitor Analysis - Monitor trends, competitor activities, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
• Negotiation & Contract Management - Support contract negotiations with GPOs to secure favorable terms.
• Data & Performance Tracking - Maintain records, analyse outcomes, and drive process improvements.

Your Profile:

• Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Experience - 5-7 years in tender management, procurement, or healthcare contracting.
• Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of GPO structures, healthcare procurement, and contracts.
• Analytical & Negotiation Skills - Ability to assess market conditions and negotiate effectively.
• Attention to Detail - Strong ability to manage documentation, compliance, and deadlines.
• Languages - Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to Travel - Occasional travel for negotiations and stakeholder meetings.
