Senior Medical Writer

Are you an experienced medical writer looking for an exciting new opportunity? An independent medical communications agency seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their team. The agency is a medial affairs/med ed focused agency with an expertise in the rare disease space!

Responsibilities

• Scientific Storytelling: Articulate complex scientific stories to diverse audiences, emphasizing key data in a clear and concise manner.
• Medical Writing Expertise: Experience developing medical affairs deliverables including MSL training decks, symposia, congress materials, advisory boards, scientific communication platforms, KOL engagements, competitive analyses and more.
• Client Communication: Work directly with clients and strategically advise on communication strategies.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationship.
• Strategic Planning: Strategize new deliverables and medical communication concepts.
• Business development: Assist in the development of new business activities and pitch presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred
• 3+ years of medical communications agency experience working in the medical affairs space
• Experience working across a range of therapeutic areas; rare disease experience is a plus!

**Fully Remote, USA Based

**Must work East Coast hours
