Clinical Account Manager (Northeast)

EPM Scientific have partnered with a Fortune 500 client focused on expanding their Clinical/Forensic Business Unit. This role is perfectly suited for professionals who have a robust background in laboratory sales and are skilled in the use of LCMS. If you possess an advanced degree in a scientific discipline and have a solid history in capital equipment sales, your application is highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales initiatives and customer interactions specifically in the clinical and forensic markets.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of LCMS, UPLC, and Mass Spectrometry.
  • Develop strategic accounts plans that are carefully crafted to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base, ensuring sustained growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, Masters, or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory sales.
  • Fluency in LCMS operations and a deep understanding of UPLC or Mass Spectrometry, demonstrating high-level expertise in these technologies.
  • A proven track record in selling capital equipment, with a history of closing high-value deals.

Skills:

  • Laboratory Sales Experience: Proven ability to drive sales and engage with clients effectively in a laboratory environment, demonstrating exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • LCMS Proficiency: Extensive knowledge and practical use of Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS), with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex analytical problems.
  • Capital Equipment Sales: Experience with direct sales of high-value scientific instruments or equipment, adept at navigating through lengthy sales cycles and complex negotiation scenarios.
