Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. This role will focus on hospital sales within the infectious disease space, covering the regions of Hesse, Saarland, and Rhineland-Palatinate. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting the launch of new products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned regions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, including physicians, pharmacists, and administrative staff.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the acquisition of new customers and the development of existing accounts.
Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals to ensure optimal product usage and patient outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to support product launches and promotional activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on hospital sales and infectious diseases.
Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and key stakeholders within the regions of Hesse, Saarland, and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions.
