Director, Market Research Consultant
A consultancy that is at the cross section of behavioral science, market research, and communications. A leader in working with clients to craft persuasive communications strategies, this consultancy is looking for Director to join the team who has a natural curiosity, likes to ask "why", and has a passion for communications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research: lead and take part in conducting behavioral based, qualitative and quantitative research to understand the industry and target audiences
- Maintain Client Relationships: Partner with leadership to consult clients based on research and advise on appropriate communications strategy based on the audience and topic
- Act as a Mentor: lead and mentor junior team members during qualitative research, and oversee 1-4 junior employees
- Project Management: work closely with agency leadership to manage projects, including RFPs, message development, and advisory strategy
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience working as a strategist, consultant, pollster, linguist, political strategist, or researcher
- Have a curious mind with a strong background and passion for writing and word choice
- Storytelling skills, transforming insights into an actionable narrative
- Experience conducting qualitative research and polling at an agency or as a client
- Worked with clients as an advisor, using critical thinking skills to offer guidance and compelling insights
- Experience working with pharmaceutical clients in a plus
