Business Development Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our team dedicated to BSan Francisco area. The primary focus of this role is to drive business growth and market expansion across all our product lines, which include recombinant proteins, cell and gene therapy enzymes and reagents. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in life sciences, with a solid background in laboratory research.

Salary: $95,000

Location: San Francisco Area

Responsibilities:


Identify and evaluate market opportunities for our diverse product lines, including recombinant proteins, gene editing reagents, and cell therapy proteins.

Generate leads, develop sales pipelines, and actively pursue new business opportunities through networking and attending industry conferences and events.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, scientists, and decision-makers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.

Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.

Negotiate and close sales agreements, contracts, and licensing deals in collaboration with legal and senior management.

Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to senior management.


Qualifications:Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in biochemistry, molecular biology, biological/biomedical sciences or related fields with 0-3 years of sales/BD experience in life science industry.

Minimum of 2 years of laboratory research experience, in the field of recombinant proteins, antibody discovery, biochemistry and immunological researches.

Strong understanding of technologies related to our product lines, including recombinant proteins, membrane proteins, MHCs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to a diverse audience.

Proven track record of driving business growth, meeting sales targets, and closing deals.

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
