POSITION DETAILS

  • Title: Senior Market Access Specialist
  • Upward Reporting: VP, Commercial Affairs
  • Position Type: Permanent Full Time (5 days per week), ongoing with a 6-month probation period
  • Location: Egham, Surrey
  • Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with two days in office (Monday and Thursday) and three days remote.
  • Travel: Some travel required
  • Salary: £80,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Commercial Affairs Team. The ideal candidate is an excellent team player, eager to learn and explore, and willing to grow in a company that cherishes talent. The Senior Market Access Specialist contributes to the development of price and reimbursement strategies for the existing portfolio. The primary focus of this role will be within Europe, with the potential to include other regions. They will contribute to the preparation and submission of dossiers and coordination of involved internal stakeholders.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

Based in Egham, the (Sr) Market Access Specialist is expected to:

  • Collect epidemiology data and literature that can support Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) applications and maintain the core value dossier up to date.
  • Draft country-specific value dossiers and collate documents for pricing applications.
  • Explore reimbursement pathways and provide expert feedback on feasibility.
  • Establish and maintain excellent professional contacts and relationships with KOLs, Patient Associations, Payors, and external MA consultants.
  • Attend price negotiations with senior staff and provide on-site support.
  • Travel and meet external stakeholders to facilitate reimbursement and patient treatment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE

  • MSc in health economics or similar field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access.
  • Proven experience in market access proceedings, drafting of pricing dossiers, interactions with Payors.
  • Well-mannered individual, able to easily and professionally interact with different stakeholders. Experience in customer relations would be a plus.
  • Fluent in English (flawless writing skills are essential) with excellent presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and/or Spanish. Any additional language is highly desirable.
