Location: Houston, TX - Onsite

About:

You'll join the Patient Safety team of a world-leading medical device company as a primary point of contact in its Houston-based Cardiac Monitoring Center. Acting as an advocate for patients, you'll provide medical expertise to Monitoring Center Technicians, interpret complex arrhythmias, and work with physicians to advance patient care. You'll also partner cross-functionally within the organization, providing clinical insights to support the development of trainings and education, clinical studies, and improved product designs.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide medical guidance and oversight to monitoring center technicians and apply expertise in ECG interpretation to determine event escalation
  • Perform medical reviews and assess safety data to better understand adverse events and improve future patient safety and care
  • Provide medical information to physicians and collaborate to ensure patients' satisfaction and safety
  • Identify and track potential safety signals for monitoring and trend analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Directors, and Training & Development, Clinical, and Medical Safety teams to develop trainings for Monitoring Center staff

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license/certification
  • 5+ years of experience in electrophysiology settings
  • Advanced skills in interpreting complex arrhythmias and ECG data
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Houston, TX

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary of $135,000 - $150,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus of 10%-15%
