R&D Project Manager
One of our clients, a MedTech company based near Lausanne, is looking for an R&D Project Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Team Leader Product Engineering, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Managing development projects for implants and ancillary products in accordance with established processes.
- Participating in the implementation and improvement of processes.
- Handling task packages such as setting up tests, creating CAD designs, and identifying product/project needs in collaboration with other departments (marketing, industrialization, etc.).
- Compiling the Design History File (DHF) and the Device Master Record (DMR) in close collaboration with the Qa/Ra department. Supporting the assembly of Summary Technical Documentation (STED).
- Continuously improving existing systems with updates to the corresponding technical documentation (change management).
- Providing technical support to other departments such as Qa/Ra, industrialization, production, marketing, and sales.
- Involvement in updating files according to new regulations (MDR).
Your profile:
- You have an engineering degree (Master or equivalent) with a specialization in medical/biomechanical/bio-engineering and at least 5 years of significant experience in the field of medical devices, ideally in the area of hip and knee implantable prostheses.
- You have knowledge and experience in tracking technical files, particularly 510(k).
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility to achieve objectives within the given deadlines and are capable of effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- You are meticulous, autonomous, analytical, collaborative, and can adapt your communication to different target audiences by being factual, precise, and easily understandable.
- Teamwork inspires you, and your ability to propose pragmatic solutions is proven.
- You speak and write fluently in French and English. Proficiency in German is a plus.
