EMC Test Engineer Wanted in Baden-Württemberg!
Introduction:
Our client, a reputable Notified Body company specializing in Medical Device and Automotive sectors is currently seeking an experienced EMC Test Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be based at their state-of-the-art facility located in the beautiful region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience within Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with international product safety standards such as IEC60601 series for medical devices and CISPR 25 for automotive equipment.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills;
1) Experience conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing on products which are subject to regulatory compliance requirements
2) Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Radiated Emissions(RS)/Radiated Susceptibility(RN)
3) Understanding of environmental simulation tests including temperature/humidity cycling & vibration/shock
Responsibilities:
As our new EMC Test engineer you'll have responsibility over;
* Designing test plans/procedures that adhere to relevant regulations/standards
* Conducting routine technical activities related to standardising procedures/testing practices
* Preparing reports documenting findings during each phase
