Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Product & Training/Clinical Education Manager to spearhead our initiatives in Japan. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between our innovative products and the clinical needs of ophthalmic professionals, ensuring that they have the knowledge and tools necessary to provide the best patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals, focusing on our ophthalmic surgical devices.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to support product launches and enhance user understanding.
- Provide on-site clinical support during surgeries and workshops, ensuring optimal product usage and patient outcomes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare institutions in Japan to drive product adoption.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness, adjusting programs based on feedback and evolving clinical practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (nursing, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines); advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical education, product management, or a related role within the medical devices industry, particularly in ophthalmology.
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for education and training.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Japan and occasionally to other regions.
