With an expanding presence in Germany, the company is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Technical Support Specialist to provide expert support for its diagnostic products and services, ensuring customers can effectively utilise the company's cutting-edge solutions.

Role Overview:
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing expert-level technical assistance to healthcare professionals, laboratories, and clinical users regarding molecular diagnostics, IVD, and transplantation products. The specialist will play a critical role in troubleshooting, offering product guidance, and ensuring seamless user experiences across the company's customer base in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide expert technical support to customers, assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and guidance on the use of molecular diagnostics, IVD, and transplantation products.
  • Product Expertise: Act as a technical expert for the product portfolio, delivering in-depth knowledge and training to customers about the correct usage, maintenance, and best practices for diagnostic and transplantation solutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage technical issues from initiation to resolution, collaborating with R&D, product management, and quality control teams to address product-related concerns.
  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions (in-person and remote) to improve customer's understanding and effective use of products.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and product manuals to assist customers and internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and regulatory teams to ensure an optimal customer experience and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Feedback: Collect customer feedback and provide insights to the product development and quality teams to improve products and services.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to customer sites across Germany to provide on-site support, troubleshooting, and training.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in life sciences, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or field applications, ideally in the molecular diagnostics, IVD, or transplantation sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of molecular diagnostic techniques, IVD platforms, and transplantation-related testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in both German and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites within Germany.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with molecular diagnostic platforms or IVD testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for IVD products (e.g., CE marking, ISO standards).
  • Experience in transplantation diagnostics and related tests.
  • Previous experience working with customer-facing support systems or troubleshooting platforms.
