Production Team Lead

We are currently working with a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing client looking for an experienced Production Team Lead to join their team in Switzerland.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting the production team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing practices.
• Developing and implementing automation processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to monitor and control production activities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain and Packaging to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on production best practices.
• Coordinating packaging operations for pharmaceutical products.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on production, MES and packaging.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing production teams.
• Strong knowledge of packaging processes for pharmaceutical products, particularly creams and ointments.
• Fluent German and English.
• Educational background in engineering (electrical or mechanical).
