Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our client's team to work on newly secured digital transformation projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
This remote position requires expertise in designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and secure cloud architectures utilizing AWS and Google Cloud.
The successful candidate will collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise needs, optimizing costs and performance.
Your role will be pivotal in driving digital transformation through the development of cloud-native strategies, governance, and security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business objectives, leveraging AWS
- Design scalable and secure cloud architectures, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Implement governance, security, and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, product) to implement cloud-native solutions.
- Optimize cloud resource allocation to reduce operational costs and enhance cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with expertise in AWS and Azure Cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and serverless computing.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex cloud solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
