Job Description:
Position Summary: The Business Development Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company into new spaces. Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Management: Identify and engage potential customers, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities. Serve as a point of contact, managing customer inquiries and needs.
- Pipeline Growth: Develop strategies to expand market presence and increase sales opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records on sales activities, and performance metrics. Provide updates to management on market activities, performance, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fermentation / bio-based industry experience is a plus
- A willingness to travel
