Position: Customer Service Advisor - Global Pharmaceutical company

Languages: GERMAN speaking + ENGLISH

Location: Utrecht (3 days in the office - HYBRID Working)

EPM Scientific have partnered with a multinational research-based pharmaceutical company company based in Utrecht who are specialised in products that positively impact millions of patients across the world every year.

Following continued investment into their Dutch site, they are now seeking an additional German and English speaking Customer Service Advisor to join them as they continue to grow going into 2025 - this is a rare opportunity to join the commercial team of one of the most trusted names in the industry.

About the job

As customer service specialist, you are the point of contact for the company. It is your responsibility to keep service levels & standards high.

In this role you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Provide customer service via email, phone and chat.
  • Assist sales with processing sales orders, handling lead times and building customer relations.
  • Maintain close contact with internal supply chain team and keep control over smooth deliveries towards B2B & B2C customers.
  • Manage and coordinate service requests from customers.
  • Monitor order status in the various systems and proactively communicate any issues or delays to relevant stakeholders
  • Handles order discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding order status or product availability to ensure supply chain continuity.

About you

To be considered for this role it would be necessary to have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service/customer facing role
  • Strong communicator
  • Strong experience in the use of ERP and CRM software
  • Basic technical understanding.
  • Fluent in written and spoken ENGLISH & GERMAN
  • Must live in the Netherlands & be able to commute to the office 3 days a week
