Director, Medical Affairs Strategy - Medical Communications Agency
A rapidly growing Medical Communications agency is seeking a Director of Medical Affairs Strategy. This role involves leading the development and delivery of impactful strategies across various Medical Communication initiatives, combining client consulting, scientific storytelling, and strategic execution.
Responsibilities:
- Engage clients in strategic conversations, identify communication challenges, and develop various solutions to meet client objectives within the medical affairs space.
- Develop and lead initiatives such as scientific platforms, scientific communication strategies, workshops, internal training plans, audience journeys and more.
- Support internal teams in timely execution of client deliverables, lead key strategic work streams, and provide mentorship.
- Conduct market research and develop effective communication strategies for your clients
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD or PharmD).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Medical Communications agency.
- Strong understanding of Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex scientific data.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
This is a fully remote position for US based employees, but must be able to work EST or CT hours.
