Material Planner
We are searching for a Scientist QC Raw Materials to join our team on a 9-month contract. This role plays a key part in the Primary Packaging and Raw Material QC team, ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials used in drug product manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing specifications, performing assessments, and supporting the release of raw materials for clinical and commercial production.
Contract Duration: 9 months
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and report results from external laboratories into the electronic system, critically assessing them against specifications and historical data.
Perform assessments of testing requirements for Raw Materials (Consumables, Excipients, Primary Packaging) in accordance with compendial and internal requirements for release.
Support laboratory investigations in collaboration with external testing laboratories.
Author and revise Specification Sheets and associated change management documentation.
Compile data for reports and presentations, interpret data, and draw conclusions.
Author and approve reports and standard operating procedures.
Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Key Requirements:
Technician with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in the field of raw materials, or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science field with 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding and application of cGMP concepts; prior experience working under GMP is preferred.
Practical experience with testing, methods, and instruments used for analytical testing of raw materials (Consumables, Excipients, Primary Packaging) is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
Proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
Advantageous: Experience with Raman, NIR/FTIR Spectroscopy.
