Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing distribution, project management, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and inventory management. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribution Management:
- Oversee the distribution network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimise distribution costs.
- Monitor and analyse distribution performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Project Management (PM):
- Lead and manage supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and resolve any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):
- Develop and implement S&OP processes to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
- Conduct regular S&OP meetings to review performance and adjust plans as needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise excess inventory.
- Implement inventory management strategies to improve accuracy and reduce carrying costs.
- Monitor inventory metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on distribution, project management, S&OP, and inventory management.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
