We are seeking a US Sales Director to lead the commercial function of a small life sciences firm who is poised for rapid growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with an extensive background in life sciences capital equipment sales and a proven track record of building successful commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute on commercial strategies across the US.
- Hire and manage high-performing commercial teams.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and clients nationwide.
- Represent the company as the face of the commercial organization at national conferences and client meetings.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Life Sciences Capital Equipment Sales: At least 10 years of experience selling life sciences capital equipment (12mo+ sales cycle typical) and track record of exceeding quota.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability in building, developing, and leading commercial teams.
- National Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the country to life sciences hubs (seeking candidates based in Northeast US).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field. MBA is a plus.
