Role Overview
A small pharmaceutical company is seeking a dedicated Urology/Oncology Sales Specialist in Southern California. This role is pivotal in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with key thought leaders and prescribers within the territory to meet the needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth product and disease state knowledge to effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals.
- Meet and strive to exceed all quarterly and annual sales objectives by developing territory-specific sales strategies and plans.
- Achieve territory sales goals/targets on a quarterly and/or annual basis.
- Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to remove barriers to access.
- Leverage selling skills to increase overall sales within the defined geography.
- Manage large territories with 1-2 overnights per week as needed.
Experience and Skills
- 3-5 years of sales experience in Urology or Oncology.
- Experience with buy & bill or long sales cycles is required.
- Proven success and established relationships within Urology and/or Oncology.
- Strong connections within LUGPA's, Community Oncology, and IDN's in the territory.
- Ability to manage large territories effectively.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
- Strong compensation package with incentives.
