Position Summary
The team is seeking an experienced and visionary Director, iPSC (Cell Therapy) to lead and advance the company's iPSC-derived cell therapy programs. This individual will be responsible for strategic oversight, scientific leadership, and execution of iPSC-based therapeutic development from early research through clinical translation.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific & Strategic Leadership: Drive the vision and roadmap for iPSC-based cell therapy programs, aligning with corporate objectives.
Research & Development: Oversee the development, differentiation, and optimization of iPSC-derived cell therapies, ensuring high-quality and scalable production processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., CMC, regulatory, translational sciences, clinical development) and external collaborators to advance pipeline programs.
Technology Innovation: Identify and integrate novel technologies to enhance iPSC differentiation, expansion, and characterization for therapeutic applications.
Regulatory & Compliance: Work closely with regulatory teams to support IND-enabling studies, ensuring adherence to global regulatory guidelines.
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology, Cell Therapy, Immunology, or a related field.
10+ years of industry experience in iPSC research, cell therapy development, and translational sciences.
Proven track record in developing iPSC-based therapies, from discovery through preclinical and early clinical development.
Expertise in iPSC reprogramming, differentiation, gene editing, and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of CMC, regulatory, and quality requirements for cell therapy development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
