About the Role:
I am seeking a dynamic and results-driven Brand Manager for a brand new prodcut, EXPAREL. This pivotal role will be instrumental in managing the daily activities and strategic initiatives that support the EXPAREL brand. As a key contributor to the execution of the brand's marketing strategy, you will play a crucial role in driving brand growth, expanding its reach across diverse therapeutic areas, and ensuring it aligns with our broader organizational goals.
The Brand Manager will collaborate across various functions, including sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams, to maintain a unified brand vision. You will be responsible for developing and executing impactful marketing strategies and initiatives to elevate EXPAREL's presence in the marketplace, engaging customers, and increasing market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Execution: Assist in executing marketing plans that drive the overall brand growth of EXPAREL. Ensure that these plans align with the organization's broader goals and objectives.
Brand Development & Positioning: Collaborate in shaping and evolving the long-term brand strategy, focusing on market positioning, customer engagement, and promotional initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on the brand's vision and marketing activities.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct regular market research to monitor industry trends and assess competitor activities. Use this intelligence to identify new opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
Promotional Campaigns & Tactics: Lead the tactical execution of various brand strategies, such as creating sales materials and managing promotional campaigns, while continuously optimizing these tactics to drive sales performance.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to engage customers effectively and drive sales growth.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand performance, market share, and brand health. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.
Strategy Adaptation: Work with the team to adjust marketing strategies regularly to meet both short-term objectives and long-term brand goals.
Qualifications:
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive brand narratives and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Cross-department Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple departments, working seamlessly within a matrixed environment.
Project Ownership & Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership of projects, driving them to completion in a timely and efficient manner while managing cross-functional stakeholders.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, performance data, and customer insights to adjust marketing tactics and strategy.
Customer Focused: Deep understanding of the customer landscape and ability to develop strategies that resonate with target audiences to enhance brand loyalty and engagement.
Travel Requirements: Anticipated travel up to 35%, primarily for attending industry society education meetings, field meetings with key opinion leaders, conducting field research.
