Our client is a global clinical and in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) company seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated APAC Commercial Excellence Manager/Director to lead their sales team across APAC. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IVD industry and a proven track record of driving sales strategies and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing a commercial operating mechanism that enables the Region to manage the commercial activities, funnel, sales numbers, with rigor and predictability
- Identifying and supporting the roll out of tools related to: Account planning and Analytics tools (margin management, CRM, etc)
- Leading and coordinating the regional implementation of Commercial Excellence initiatives aligned to global strategy
- Driving continuous improvement in the commercial (sales and operations) processes
- Developing and implementing, together with the Sales and Marketing department, of different marketing & sales projects in line with the strategic imperatives of the organization
- Setting KPIs and performance management process, assess regional performance, identify performance gaps and drivers, develop remediation / action plans and deploy resources as needed
- Translating strategic objectives into operational plans
- Working horizontally within the region and Business Unit to drive alignment, execution, accountability and results
- Travel up to 30% of the time
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of work experience in IVD industry.
- Experience in commercial, responsible for sales targets and leading commercial teams
- Experience in working in Asia markets is a plus
- Experience in strategic decision support, market forecasting, performance tracking and marketing analytics are desired
- Must be IT-savvy and have strong experience in Excel and other analytical tool
- Must be fluent in English

- Good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in modelling tools such as trend analysis and optimization
- Ability to develop business-oriented results with appropriate level of detail and keep the right people informed
