Job Description:
Position Overview: Provide technical support for upstream product lines in the bioprocess industry. This role involves using expertise in process development and manufacturing to assist customers and the sales team with various opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team and product management to provide support for various product lines.
- Respond to customer requests, conduct technical seminars, perform product demonstrations, and offer on-site/in-lab support.
- Analyze field data and prepare updates for business partners.
- Develop and execute project plans to meet customer needs.
- Draft reports based on customer interactions.
- Share knowledge and feedback with product management and R&D for product improvement.
- Assist to applications data and collateral creation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific or engineering field.
- Over 6 years of experience in upstream processes within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of cell culture processes in both development and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of various bioproduct processes, such as perfusion
- Familiarity with tech transfer, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and working independently to achieve goals.
- Effective team player within a global, cross-functional environment.
Flexible with work hours to accommodate various schedules. - Proficient in Japanese and English.
- Willing to travel extensively, both domestically and occasionally internationally.
