We are seeking a dedicated Clinical and Technical Support Specialist to oversee the support and implementation of advanced heart assist devices. This role involves providing crucial training, clinical assistance, and technical support to new and existing clients, including healthcare facilities and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical and technical support for advanced heart assist device systems.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing service support to enhance client and distributor knowledge and skills.
- Identify and support potential candidates for clinical studies.
- Collaborate with the training manager to coordinate educational initiatives and update training materials.
- Work alongside sales teams and distributors to promote the product line to prospective clients.
- Assess client needs and recommend product adaptations or enhancements based on feedback.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports and manage required documentation efficiently.
- Support trade show efforts and other promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of mechanical circulatory support systems and the clinical environment.
- Advanced knowledge of heart failure physiopathology.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical and device-based treatments for heart failure.
- Proven ability to manage high-level activities under diverse conditions.
- Medical degree or equivalent in a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Residency within the assigned area is necessary.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience in the ventricular assist device (VAD) industry or cardiac care is highly advantageous.
- Experience with biomedical engineering, clinical publication, and delivering group presentations is desirable.
