Key Account Manager
Location: Germany (Remote, Home Office)
Language Requirements: Fluent in German, English
Travel Requirements: 30% travel within Europe-Focus on DACH territories.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager. This role is pivotal in driving commercial success across Europe, focusing on research, commercial manufacturing, and biopharma sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service selling within the biotech industry, specifically in proteins, antibodies, and DNA sequencing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in Europe
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the biotech/proteins/antibodies/DNA sequencing sectors
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Travel within Europe (30%) to meet clients and attend industry events
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in service selling within the biotech industry
- Proven track record in managing key accounts and driving sales growth
- Background within biologics CDMO'S is advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, home office setting
- Full Proficiency in English and German
