We have partnered with an innovative manufacturing solutions company that is exponentially growing! They are looking for a Material Planner to join their team on a contractual basis. This position will be located in Fremont, CA.
The Material Planner will have the following responsibilities:
- Scheduling materials required to deliver production goals to meet production line demands
- Ensuring consistent and adequate flow of materials to meet production schedules in a timely manor
- Coordinating between warehouses and purchasing department on material shortages
- Monitoring the integrity of Bill of Materials to manage inventory accuracy
- Coordinating delivery of parts to ensure flow of materials
- Utlizing ERP system to release material work orders
- Collaborating with warehouse, manufacturing, and purchasing departments to achieve optimal material flows
The Material Planner will have the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience within supply chain, with a focus on planning
- Associates degree in supply chain-relevant discipline
- Experience with materials within electrical background - cables, metal parts, etc
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with materials analysis
- Problem solving attitude and a quick thinker
This role is operating on a contractual basis starting on a 6 month contract, with the opportunity of contract to hire depending on performance.
