Company Overview: We are partnering with a rapidly expanding Medical Device company that is looking for a Product and Application Manager to join their team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity with a growing company specializing in Digital Health AI. You would be required to lead the full product development projects of several medical imaging products that they are launching in their pipeline.
Position Overview:
As a Product and Application Manager, you will play vital role in leading product development, strategy and be involved in the entire process starting from product design to launches. You will collaborate closely with a team of software engineers and research scientists to ensure the smooth and efficient launch of products in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads product development, strategy, and redesign from concept through development and manufacturing to market launch.
- Develops products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, developing marketing strategies, and determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Conduct training/technical seminars to promote new products.
- Work closely with sales and marketing, to fulfill expectations of the assigned product lines, with regards to new customers acquisition activities.
- Assesses product market data by calling on customers to understand the product fit to market.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return-on-investment analyses, and establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Identifies and manages new and existing product partnerships.
- Document the application's technical architecture, issue resolutions and procedure.
- Maintain service operations documentation and guides. Develop supporting documentation for all Service Operation activities.
- Provide applications troubleshooting and on-site support. Coordinate activities to identify, diagnose and rectify problems.
- Reports to CEO directly
Qualifications:
- Degree in Medical Imaging or other related discipline or equivalent.
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging or Biomedical Imaging field for the medical device industry would be an advantage, preferably in experience working with oncology or breast cancer.
- Experience in negotiating with regulatory authorities.
- Medical Device Act and other medical device related regulations in Singapore and globally
- Ability to build strong relationships with KOLs
- Possess good stakeholder / business management skills
- Possess good communication skills
