Job Summary: The Medical Device Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of our breast cancer medical devices, from ideation to market launch and beyond. This role requires a deep understanding of the breast cancer landscape, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies for breast cancer medical devices, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and clinical teams to guide the development of new products and enhancements to existing products. Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory standards, including FDA and CE Mark requirements. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Marketing and Sales Support: Develop marketing materials, sales tools, and training programs to support product launches and ongoing sales efforts. Work closely with the sales team to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and patients to gather feedback and insights. Use this information to continuously improve products and address unmet needs.
- Project Management: Manage product development timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biomedical engineering, life sciences, business). Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on breast cancer or oncology products.
- Skills: Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
