Quality Control Microbiologist
Location: Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area
Working situation: Onsite
Our client is an established biotech company specializing in developing cutting-edge allograft solutions designed to enhance the body's healing potential. Their commitment to quality and innovation drives everything they do, and are looking for a passionate Quality Control Microbiologist to help maintain their high standards.
The QC Microbiologist will:
- QC testing of specific tissue samples like cell viability testing, sterility testing, method suitability, biochemical testing, and microbial identification using VITEK 2.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
- Document and analyze test results accurately.
- Support water system testing of the facility by testing for total organic carbon (TOC), bioburden, endotoxin, and conductivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
The QC Microbiologist has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of Vitek and other laboratory testing programs.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
