Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the quality operations team to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements, with a focus on maintaining product safety and efficacy.
Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the quality operations team to enhance their skills and performance.
Drive a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality Management, or a related discipline).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality operations management within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical sector.
Proven experience in leading and managing a quality operations team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools is a plus.
