Role Overview:
As the Sales Specialist for South Germany, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of digital pathology solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting the value of our client's products to prospective customers. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Execution: Identify and target new business opportunities within South Germany, focusing on hospitals, laboratories, and pathology departments.
- Product Demonstration: Present and demonstrate the company's digital pathology solutions, showcasing how they improve diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows, and enhance patient outcomes.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including pathologists, laboratory managers, IT directors, and other decision-makers.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with developments in the local healthcare market, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams-marketing, technical support, and product development-to ensure seamless customer experiences and product implementation.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and market feedback, providing regular updates to management on sales performance and opportunities.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare technology sectors, preferably with a focus on pathology, laboratory, or diagnostic imaging solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital pathology solutions, diagnostic imaging, or laboratory workflows, with the ability to communicate technical benefits clearly to customers.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in B2B sales, including experience with solution-based selling, lead generation, and closing high-value deals.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in healthcare settings.
- Self-Motivated: Highly driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within South Germany to meet clients and attend events.
- Languages: Fluency in German and English is required.
