We are seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead, develop, and execute strategic marketing initiatives for our growing neurology portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful marketing strategies, with experience in neurology and institutional settings. We are seeking a leader adept at managing cross-functional teams and capable of driving growth while navigating the complexities of the pharmaceutical landscape.
Responsibilities
- Strategize and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals, focusing on product growth and market penetration in the oncology sector.
- Lead, mentor, and build out the marketing team as our product portfolio grows, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the oncology market and institutional settings.
- Oversee the development and management of brand strategies, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with sales, R&D, regulatory affairs, legal, and external partners to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and compliance with industry regulations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed objectives. Align to and support commercial P&L goals and broader corporate mission.
- Spearhead educational and awareness programs aimed at healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), institutional decision-makers and patients.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources to prioritize high-impact activities and ensure ROI.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
- Ideally has demonstrated neurology/CNS marketing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
