Sr. Director of Commercial Operations
San Francisco, CA (Hybrid; must be on-site 3x a week)
I am partnering with a large pharmaceutical company specializing in chronic pain management. They are seeking an operational leader to define and implement strategic initiatives that effectively support sales operations and manage day-to-day interactions between commercial teams to maintain efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Customer Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Marketing, Finance, and others to ensure alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and management of Sales Operations, ensuring systems and resources align with key reporting metrics for both internal and external users.
- Serve as an expert in Commercial Operations, including CRM, BI, and Sales Force operations, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Oversee implementation of Veeva CRM and other related tools, managing system change requests via internal resources.
- Oversight of sales force alignments and execution
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure prioritization with overarching Commercial and Business Strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and evaluate tools and technologies to recommend solutions for closing critical gaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, business operations, or analytics within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT processes and prior experience with CRM and BI application tools
- Experience in the hospital segment and with surgical products
