Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales strategy and customer accounts across the New England territory
- Understand a value-based selling model which includes scientific product demonstrations that are customized to the customers research needs
- Enhance market penetration within the New England area but attending tradeshows, conferences, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive customer success
- Ability to maintain a strong relationship with customers throughout a complex sale
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
- Understanding of customized mRNA services and technologies, nucleic acid therapeutic applications and knowledge of CDMO services sales processes
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles within the life sciences, advanced degree or CDMO/CRO service sales experience preferred
- Candidate must be able to travel throughout the New England area, Boston will be a key area to support
- Scientific understanding of mRNA services and molecular biology applications is required (Nucleic Acids, Guard Protein, Genome editing, Discovery services, RUO services)
