Sr. Manager, Market Research & Commercial Insights - Ultra Rare
Deerfield, IL (must be onsite 2-3x a week)
I am partnered with a large, global biotechnology company focusing on developing innovative therapies to addressing serious disease states. In this role the candidate will be overseeing and driving the execution of primary market research initiatives to generate long-term insights. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of collaborating cross functionally with key stakeholders to translate market research findings into actionable insights that support brand/launch strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the brand team to ensure alignment on brand goals, strategies, and challenges, while identifying new opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to ensure research plans and projects align with business objectives.
- Lead and execute primary market research projects and contribute to the development of an insight-generation plan to meet brand needs.
- Support key annual initiatives such as Executive Reviews, Brand Planning, Budgeting, and business case development by providing objective insights.
- Help translate Brand Strategy into measurable insights and deliver them in a clear, concise manner to guide decision-making.
- Convert primary market research findings into actionable insights that influence team decisions effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Experience conducting market research or data analytics within the pharmaceutical industry
- 4-6 years of analytics or market research experience
- Proven ability to balance, manage, and prioritize complex projects
