Position Overview:
Our client are looking for a driven Strategic Account Manager to join their team. This role is perfect for an experienced professional with a strong background in NGS and genetics, who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys building lasting relationships. You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the Netherlands, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs, and aligning our cutting-edge products and solutions to meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with high-value strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive the growth of existing accounts by identifying new opportunities for NGS and genetic solutions, while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Work closely with the sales, product, and technical teams to tailor solutions that align with the client's strategic goals and needs.
- Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue and profitability, while maintaining high levels of client retention.
- Provide regular updates on account performance, opportunities, and challenges to the leadership team.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and upsell opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
- Stay current on industry trends, technological developments, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar client-facing role within the NGS, genomics, or life sciences industries.
- Strong understanding of NGS technologies, genetic testing, and their application in research, diagnostics, or clinical settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.
- Track record of successfully managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue growth targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluent in English
