Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our client's sales efforts in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotechnology, particularly in NGS and genomics, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market presence.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including research institutions, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of our products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the biotechnology or genomics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of NGS technologies and applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
