Position Overview:
The Senior Account Manager will engage with and advise teams across marketing, medical, sales, education, market access, and training within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. This role involves guiding product and market access marketing teams to create cost-effective communication strategies aimed at educating and influencing a specific target audience. Additionally, the position includes developing and presenting business proposals to current marketing, medical, and market access clients to grow existing business. The Senior Account Manager will manage client expectations, collaborate with physician opinion leaders and strategic partners, and work closely with Operations and Scientific Innovation teams to execute multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client interactions and contribute ideas across multiple accounts.
- Drive internal teams to meet project goals, timelines, budgets, and staffing needs.
- Align client expectations with project scope and budgets, and find solutions when differences arise.
- Obtain client approvals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Create and execute strategies for marketing, market access, and medical proposals.
- Apply regulatory knowledge to client projects.
- Gather and use feedback to improve future projects and services.
- Understand product life cycles and market factors.
- Lead strategic planning for accounts, including brand planning and proactive recommendations.
- Demonstrate operational knowledge of services and guide colleagues.
- Respond to RFPs and present business forecasts and strategies.
- Travel for client meetings and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Market Access experience
- At least 7 years of Medical Education experience
- Proficient/advanced communication skills, including speaking and writing clearly and effectively, balancing listening and speaking, demonstrating resilience, presenting effectively, and giving and receiving feedback.
- Proficient/advanced relationship management skills, including being attentive to customer needs, collaborating with teammates, demonstrating leadership, influencing, identifying and solving problems, working through conflict, thinking strategically, and delegating effectively.
- Good/basic skills in leading others, providing an inclusive workplace, inspiring the team, and setting the vision for the organization.
